  1. When I was a member and leader of CASRO, we tried to several times to attract more minorities to the Survey Research Industry. We worked at both the college and graduate school level with professors and guidance counselors to get more minority students attracted to bur industry. It never really worked because we couldn’t compete financially with other industries and careers offered. The Best and the Brightest went into Law, Medicine and Business, survey research paled in comparison in spite of our best efforts.
