  1. Some good thoughts and ideas from Michael. I always found when companies and their products were in trouble or not engaging customers that more communication and public relations was needed rather than less. Unless a company or brand doesn’t keep telling its story, it will be assigned to the trash heap of history. People need to hear from their friends and relatives regularly, especially now during the pandemic, so do brands and products need to be heard from. If you watch TV, cruise ship lines are still advertising both to customers and investors, so are health clubs, airlines, and other businesses which are barely operating, so when we come out the other side there is pent up demand and faster sales. It is also a good time to educate customers about a company’s traditions and history in Institutional rather than marketing advertising.
