The giant Omnicom and Publicis advertising agencies will merge (subject to approval from over 45 governments), forming the world’s largest advertising organization. Creators of the University of Notre Dame’s CARE system believes it can collect and make sense of individual health care medical records to help predict where problems may occur for similar individuals in the future. Sporting Kansas City in Major League Soccer is leading the way among professional sports franchises in collecting data from fans in their ballpark.
