Nielsen ditches paper diaries. EU data protection laws. Palantir adds $880 mil. (RBDR 01.06.2016)

2) The European Union hopes to approve new data protections laws this month that, if approved, would go into effect in early 2018.

3) In what might represent the single largest fundraiser by a research organization, Palantir is $880 million richer and is now valued at $2 billion.
