Innovation ROI for companies is not paying off | RBDR

April 26, 2017. Today on RBDR:

1) Australia’s research associations are arguing and battling the government’s plans for the abolition of visas for overseas workers.

2) PA Consulting Group’s annual “Innovation Matters” study shows a vast gap between the perceived importance of corporate innovation and its practical return on investment. Find a link to the informational release by clicking here, and a link to the actual study by clicking here.

This week’s RBDR is sponsored by RFL Video Testimonial Service, bringing a research agency/vendor’s happy and loyal customers to life. Using our 23 years of experience in dealing with research agencies of all shapes and sizes–and based on your specific input concerning subject matter you would like your customer to speak about – we will discuss your company with your chosen customer in a video testimonial. It takes about one week, at a cost that is well affordable. Post it on your website and use it for other everyday and special promotional purposes.

1) A class action suit has been filed against Fitbit, alleging that its heartbeat readings of users are off, on average, by 20 beats.

2) A study by AnalyticsWeek and Business Over Broadway finds that decision analyst professionals working in Marketing & Sales, R&D and IT are more skilled and more satisfied with the outcome of their assignments than their peers in other corporate functions.

RBDR is sponsored by RFL Communications, which will publish the second annual “Global Top 50 Research Organizations” in June, a unique perspective on the research industry’s driving forces: traditional research agencies, new research data sources like social media, etc. as well as many leading research industry suppliers.
